new crochet turban designs

Friday, November 1, 2013

Hello darlings,

Its been a while, here is what I have been up to!   Designing is always a fun little getaway for me, I never know where I am going to go... first I wanted a simple turban that was just a little more than ordinary.  I had some cute matching polka dot fabric lying around and thought - THIS IS PERFECT.  ...what do you think?!  I think it is pretty great...

Next. I wanted a "twisted turban" ..but I wasn't in love with how bulky the twist got when you do it the traditional way... soooo.. of to the drawing board.  (and when I say that, I really mean - my mind full of jumbled thoughts and my iPad)  ...away I went... crocheting what I thought would work.  »» who knew it would have turned out so cute?!  LOVE.  Both will be available at my upcoming events and on +Etsy soon!

Good Afternoon darlings!

I needed an internet break - so here I am - D R E A M I N G about one of the projects I am working on! There are quite a few right now, but this one has my {heart}  ...as you may know, I am a sucker for anything bohemian, shabby or chic ... so naturally I was drawn to this chair immediately!  HAD to HAVE.  The hard thing was to decide whether or not to sell it - LOL.

Here is a photo of the chair that I have been working on - [EVEN BETTER] she has a sister!

So I have had several ideas for the cushions [I initially found inspiration in a magazine, using oversized pillows] but decided I would make a custom ones!  ...surfing the web earlier brought me to a photo on tumblr - feel in love with it and just had to share this inspiration.  For our chairs picture fluffy, comfy feel + gray and cream chevron fabric....LOVE.

I can NOT wait to get started on these lovely chairs and share updates as I go!  There is just a special feeling that you get from bringing a piece back to LIFE, don't you think!?

Be sure and check back next week :)  There is always something new at +LuLu Belle Designs

ta ta for now!

UPDATE <3 here is the finished product darlings..... comment with your thoughts!

Hello lovelies!

I know a lot of you have questions on what size to order sometimes :) so here is our size chart info.  If you are measuring here are some tips:

1. The measurement should be taken with something that cannot be stretched, such as a soft tape measure or piece of cotton string or shoelace!

Wine Bottle Cutting 30 seconds ~ Perfect Edge

Thursday, January 3, 2013

good morning my darlings ♥  so, I am all about the {three Rs} reduce. recycle. reuse - - and the one thing that got me down about recycling in my small town is G L A S S ... nowhere to recycle it.  So I decided to reUSE it.

I have countess A T L A S mason jars with goodies in around the house, we even use them to drink from - BTW super cute dressed all up in garnish & paper straws.  ~But then it comes to the wine bottles {and wine cooler/beer} ....I have wanted to make some candles for a while now && what better vessels than WINE bottles ♥

We have all seen the oodles of ways to cut glass bottles, but frankly starting a rope on fire kinda had me a little freaked out - lol. So on my journey through the {world wide web} I stumbled onto this beauty ... I have not tried it YET - but it is in the plans - very soon!   How about you?!

Have a fab day lovelies ~ you are in control of making it G R E A T ♥
